Dr. Nicholas Linn, a proud northeast Nebraska native, grew up in the small town of Hoskins, just outside Norfolk. He attended Norfolk public schools, graduating from Norfolk High in 1998. Dr. Linn earned his bachelor's degree from Wayne State College in 2002 before pursuing his passion at Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he became the first doctor in his family upon graduating in 2005. His brother, Justin, followed suit, earning his degree from Palmer in 2007.
Dr. Linn's journey into chiropractic care began in grade school during a memorable day in the garden with his grandmother. Struggling with pain while standing up from kneeling, he visited her chiropractor—a family friend—who conducted a quick exam and X-rays, explained the issue, and started treatment. Feeling remarkable relief soon after, young Nicholas knew then that he wanted to become a chiropractor himself. During his time at Palmer, Dr. Linn participated in the college's Clinic Abroad program, spending a month in Vietnam with 25 fellow students and 5 doctors. The group provided care to over 5,000 people in underserved regions, many of whom had never seen a doctor or chiropractor before. They served communities in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Phan Thiet, and Vung Tau—an unforgettable experience that deepened his commitment to helping others.
Dr. Linn and his wife, Katrina, reside in Norfolk with their four daughters: Natalia (22), Kierstyn (18), Giselle (14), and Aria (11). The family loves embracing the outdoors, from summer travels and bike rides to spontaneous short trips.
